Zhejiang Red, Green and Blue Textile Printing and Dyeing Co., Ltd., which specializes in the printing and dyeing of women's clothing fabrics, uses coal combustion as the main energy source for the shaping machine in its production equipment.

In 2011, the company took the lead in reforming the finalizer from coal to gas among the printing and dyeing enterprises in Keqiao District, greatly improving the thermal efficiency and reducing sulfur dioxide pollution.

Huang Xinming, the deputy general manager of the company, told the reporter that although the cost has increased, the "coal to gas" heating is stable and has high thermal efficiency, which is very consistent with the sustainable development and long-term interests of the company's business.

Huang Xinming introduced that in 2019, the company installed solar photovoltaic panels on the top of the plant, with a total area of 12000 square meters, a power of 12000 megawatts, and an annual power generation of about 1.5 million kilowatt hours, which realized the replacement of clean electricity, reduced electricity costs, and helped achieve the goal of "double carbon".

Shaoxing Shengxin Printing and Dyeing Co., Ltd., which is located in Keqiao Printing and Dyeing Industry Cluster with "Red, Green and Blue", has been trying every way to save energy and reduce emissions. It has changed the original traditional motor into permanent magnet motor and magnetic levitation motor to reduce power consumption. At the same time, it has changed the traditional process and transformed the original ordinary printing into inkjet printing, greatly reducing environmental pollution and energy consumption.

A month ago, the company tried the "coal to gas" transformation again. Fu Jianlin, the chairman of the board of directors, calculated an account for the reporter: the traditional sizing machine was transformed into an energy-saving sizing machine. Through waste gas and waste heat recovery, the natural gas consumption was reduced by about 20%, the production efficiency was improved by about 20%, and the overall energy-saving effect was about 30%. "After more than a month, the effect of 'coal to gas' is obvious, and the company is ready to invest tens of millions of yuan to make a major transformation of all the sizing machines." Fu Jianlin said.

For enterprises in Keqiao District, energy conservation and emission reduction, green and low-carbon are not so much the requirements of superiors as the spontaneous requirements of enterprises to improve the quality of development after a certain stage of development.

Under the strong advocacy of Keqiao District Committee and Government, enterprises in Keqiao District actively carry out energy conservation and emission reduction. According to preliminary statistics, the printing and dyeing industry in our district has achieved the goal of "replacing coal with gas". In 2020, 259000 tons of local coal will be reduced, and the carbon intensity will be reduced to 13613 tons per 10000 yuan of GDP. Next, Keqiao District will further improve the efficiency of coal utilization. During the "Fourteenth Five Year Plan" period, local coal consumption will be cut by more than 5%, photovoltaic installed capacity will be increased by more than twice, and more than 10 green factories and parks above the provincial level will be established to comprehensively promote green manufacturing projects.

While carrying out physical energy conservation and emission reduction, in recent years, enterprises in Keqiao District have tried to promote green production with digital empowerment.

Zhejiang Baofang Printing and Dyeing Co., Ltd., whose fabrics are mainly sold to Africa, has invested an average of more than 50 million yuan annually in equipment transformation in recent years, accounting for about 5% of the total sales, reducing the energy consumption of the enterprise by half while doubling the production capacity.

At present, the company is embarking on the transformation of digital workshop and intelligent production. The traditional printing and dyeing workshop has been replaced by spotless modern intelligent equipment. Yu Shaobo, the person in charge of the company, told the reporter that their ultimate transformation goal was to "make the production workshop like a modern office building".

Li Chuanhai, Executive Chairman of Keqiao Printing and Dyeing Association, has been dealing with the printing and dyeing industry, and witnessed the development of the textile industry in Keqiao District from village ignition and town smoking to the current digital transformation stage.

He said that the printing and dyeing capacity of Keqiao District accounted for more than half of Zhejiang Province and one-third of the country. Once a huge burden of energy consumption and pollution, this highly concentrated industrial layout created good conditions for the whole district to implement energy conservation and emission reduction through the promotion of policies of the district committee and the district government.

In recent years, as the Keqiao District Party Committee and the District Government attach great importance to the "double carbon" work, the textile printing and dyeing enterprises in Keqiao District have taken the lead in the race. At present, more than 30 enterprises are implementing or planning to carry out digital transformation. The gathering pattern of the printing and dyeing industry in Keqiao District has undoubtedly laid a foundation for building the province's "industrial brain of the textile printing and dyeing industry", carrying out the digital multi scene application of "Zheli engineers", promoting the digital twin factory, and better enabling the high-quality development of the textile printing and dyeing industry.
