Warning: Zhejiang's epidemic situation triggered the alarm of the printing and dyeing factory's warehouse explosion after the year
It is still half a month before the end of 2021, and the second year of the post epidemic era has also come to an end. The news of the recent outbreak in Zhejiang is overwhelming today, but look back and think about what the future pattern of textile market will be?
As we all know, in September, the epidemic situation in Fujian led to stoppage of production, and the production of nylon spinning fell sharply. In addition, the upper limit on electricity production limited the supply of nylon spinning fabrics in the whole market. It was also the peak season, and the price of nylon spinning was skyrocketing.
What will the epidemic situation in Zhejiang bring? Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, is mainly engaged in printing and dyeing in the textile industry. Recently, due to the epidemic situation, Shangyu District has been completely shut down, including the dye giants Longsheng Group and Runtu Shares. The dye supply stoppage hit the printing and dyeing plants like a blow. In addition, the information of steam supply stoppage appeared recently. Steam and electricity are the main energy sources for printing and dyeing. Therefore, in the case of dye shortage and steam supply stoppage, The Spring Festival holiday will be planned around the 15th of next month.
So will such a large-scale shutdown in Shaoxing bring back orders for printing and dyeing plants in surrounding areas? At present, there is no obvious change. As I said before, most of the printing and dyeing plants are very idle now. The main reason is that the number of orders on the market is obviously missing, mainly because the terminal market has gone through the "Double 11" and "Double 12" and has entered the off-season. And until now, the cold has not yet come. This year's warm winter trend may be greater, which may have an impact on the purchasing of down jackets.
However, for the textile workers, the biggest problem caused by the shutdown in Shaoxing is the delivery date. Recently, a boss visited the market and said to the editor: "Many friends in Shaoxing began to withdraw their orders, so they had to find another place to do it, otherwise the delivery date would be too late to compensate for the air freight."
When the market is in the off-season, even if the work is stopped, the impact on the surrounding areas will be very little. However, in this case, it seems that the market after years will encounter the situation that the dyeing factory will break out. As Shaoxing's control is now set to end on March 15 next year, which is years later, and it has entered the traditional peak season "golden third", the time is not waiting, so the textile workers are bound to look for printing and dyeing factories with similar prices and quality around to work, As a printing and dyeing base with a production capacity accounting for one third of the national production capacity, the number of orders diverted is unimaginable.
However, after the Spring Festival holiday, the workers have returned to their hometown for the New Year. The printing and dyeing factory will encounter a situation of having jobs but lacking workers, and the loss of workers has started from now on. Due to the frequent outbreaks of the epidemic, many places advocate to celebrate the New Year on the spot, and the workers who are far away from home are unable to stop their homesickness. Afraid of being unable to return to their hometown later, they have advanced their return time. How will printing and dyeing plants that lack workers and capacity guarantee their delivery dates? Generally speaking, the dyeing factory will stop entering the warehouse and finish the order in hand first, so as to ease the order in hand.
In a word, with the launch of spring and summer fabrics after the Spring Festival, the textile market will usher in a new peak season. However, when the epidemic situation is repeated, the textile workers should be careful to avoid how happy they are when receiving orders, and how sad the delivery delay is. Finally, we hope Zhejiang can overcome the epidemic situation as soon as possible and return to our textile family.
