Tongxiang Explores the Way of Efficient Treatment of Printing and Dyeing Wastewater
As the rectification of heavy pollution and high energy consumption industries entered the countdown, many enterprises within the scope of rectification accelerated their progress, but some enterprises began to worry and face difficulties. Recently, Zhejiang Fenglin Linen Dyeing and Finishing Co., Ltd. signed a letter of intent with Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology to cooperate with enterprises to jointly develop new processes for efficient treatment and recycling of printing and dyeing wastewater.
The statistics of Tongxiang at the beginning of this year show that there are 82 printing and dyeing enterprises in the city. The printing and dyeing industry is an important supporting industry for the textile industry, sweaters, fur and other industries, but it is also a "big emitter" of wastewater, becoming a synonym for heavy pollution and high energy consumption. According to the insiders, in order to shorten the processing cycle, improve the product quality and improve the product performance, the printing and dyeing industry often adds different auxiliaries during the production process, which makes the wastewater treatment more difficult. The traditional treatment technology has gradually failed to meet the wastewater treatment needs of the printing and dyeing industry at this stage.
This year, Tongxiang's printing and dyeing industry improvement plan requires printing and dyeing enterprises to strictly comply with the discharge standards, and the rate of repeated water use should not be less than 35%. "The requirements for industry regulation are relatively high, but we hope to do better. On the one hand, reducing emissions can reduce the impact on the environment, and on the other hand, it is beneficial to the long-term development of enterprises." Zhejiang Fenglin Linen Dyeing and Finishing Co., Ltd. has been actively seeking ways to improve technology since it was included in the scope of industry regulation, hoping to find a good way to efficiently treat printing and dyeing wastewater.
With the help of the Tongxiang Economic Development Zone Management Committee, the idea of the enterprise coincided with a scientific research project of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology. The two sides reached an intention of cooperation. Several experts from Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology will develop advanced treatment technology and carry out research on the safety configuration technology of biological system for the problem of salt concentration in the process of printing and dyeing enterprises' production wastewater recycling, In order to improve wastewater discharge standards and recycling efficiency. According to Wang Ziyuan, the general manager of Zhejiang Fenglin Linen Dyeing and Finishing Co., Ltd., this technology will be combined with the upgrading and reconstruction of their company's printing and dyeing wastewater treatment equipment and the construction of recycling projects. It is still in the experimental stage, and is expected to be put into use next year if successful.
Cooperation between schools and enterprises to jointly develop new processes for efficient treatment and recycling of wastewater in the printing and dyeing industry is not only beneficial to enterprises, but also can be widely used in the printing and dyeing industry after successful development. According to the staff of Tongxiang Environmental Protection Bureau, this study will provide technical support and typical implementation examples for the large-scale application of efficient treatment and recycling of wastewater in Tongxiang printing and dyeing industry, and help the city's printing and dyeing industry to further promote the rectification work.
